It is with great sadness I have to report that Paul Chisnell has retired from drumming, almost 30 years since he first joined Haze. Paul has been suffering with increasingly bad tinnitus for a number of years now, which has made performing an uncomfortable & worrying experience for him, so he has taken the difficult decision to give up playing drums.
We wish Paul all the best for the future and have extended an open invitation to him to come and sing with us, if he felt he was able to do this, at any time.
The demanding role of Haze drummer will be taken on by Danny McMahon, Paul's son, who many of you will have seen performing with us in the past. For our other bands, Treebeard and The Outlandish Knights, Danny will play whenever he is available, otherwise Trev from Jabberwocky & Broadsword will be playing with us.
